Igloolik & Iqualuit, Nunavut

Igloolik and Iqualuit, Nunavut (2003)

In March 2003, I had the opportunity to travel to Iqualuit and Igloolik in Nunavut to give workshops and presentations on mineralogy and geology to primary and highschool students.  This experience was supported by the Nunavut Research Institute (thanks Rick!) and their NSERC Promoscience grant.  I will be heading back up north this November (2005) to present workshops in Rankin Inlet and surrounding communities.
